The Ides of March
The Cherries are in Blossom everywhere here in the Presidio. Although the weather doesn't seem to agree it is quite spring yet - one day they are here - two days later they have blown away. I knew when I saw these walking through Letterman that they wouldn't last. So I went out on a very cold and windy night to try to capture them. I was hoping for fog as well as wind - but the weather wasn't cooperating. Still I really like the motion blur in the clouds and flowers contrasted with the very detailed grass and petals.
