Last night was Lights out San Francisco. From 8-9 pm residents, city government and businesses shut off all non-essential lights to save 15% of the energy of the city of San Francisco. Jason and I participated by turning off all our lights and firing up our new fire pit with java-logs.
It was a clear night, so I snapped a few shots off as we sipped wine, roasted chocolate marsh mellows and listened to groove salad on soma fm. Lounging in the back yard was hardly a sacrifice, more like mini-camping, and we enjoyed it so much we stayed out long past 9, enjoying the starry night.
